The Editors at Familius Publishing are putting the final touches on the manuscript I wrote. A five-year process approaches the finish line.
A writing project that has taken years to complete is in the final turn, per se’ – The Father Apprentice is under official editorial review. Between now and early November, the manuscript will be polished and laid out for the final design.
I’m indebted to all the fathers I crossed paths with throughout my adolescence and today as an active parent who inspired me to pen the manuscript.
It is the first book dedicated to new dads who may not have had one themselves growing up. This audience is estimated to represent over 19 million men – those who are active parents today or will be in the near future (Source: U.S. Census).
The Father Apprentice will offer quick and succinct suggestions for new dads and it will cover subjects such as family relations, a father’s legacy, strengthening spousal relationships, and how to maintain a healthy work/life balance as a new parent. Organized as a ‘playbook,’ it will also feature interviews with successful fathers that illustrate the value of being an active and supportive role model – both as a dad and a husband.
Familius Publishing will release the book nationally next year. Pre-orders will be available in the Spring of 2021.
